EMPLOYMENT STATUS:                      Full-Time

SHIFT(S):                               1 on Day Shift (7:30 AM to 4:00PM) / 1 on Afternoon Shift (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM)

REPORTS TO:                                         QC Team Lead

• The purpose of this role is to perform quality control inspections on products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards.
• Conducts quality control inspections on products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards (performs incoming, in-process, quality control inspections)
• Completes necessary quality control documentation (collects inspection data as per inspection procedure, records inspection data using control charts)
• Rework of SMT and fine pitch SMT assemblies
• Participate in team quality meetings and provide feedback to team on issues identified after troubleshooting
• Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularly
• Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives

• Minimum 2 years electronic assembly, rework and inspection experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality standards; Knowledge of IPC A 600 – Acceptability of Printed Circuit Boards and IPC 610 – Acceptability of Electronic Assembly is preferred
• Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards
• Thorough understanding and application of quality standards and control procedures
• Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical and reliable
• Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English
• A positive team attitude, with enthusiasm and ability to work well independently
• Flexibility to work shifts according to business needs
