POSITION: Delivery Driver



SHIFT(S): Day Shift (40 hours per week)

REPORTS TO:  Shipping

We are an electronic manufacturing and design services company providing circuit design, PCB layout, bare board manufacturing, PCB assembly testing and box build for your proto-type and low-to-mid volume productions. Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide pick up and delivery of products and materials to and from our customers to ensure the business runs smoothly, and items are received in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Transport goods and materials to and from our customers and other specified locations in the Greater Toronto Area; longer distances may be required
  • Maintain logbook to track deliveries
  • Interact with our customers in a professional manner
  • Complete daily maintenance checks of the delivery vehicle, and notify manager of any issues
  • Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management
  • Ensure company vehicle is always parked in approved parking areas to avoid towing or possible vehicle damage
  • Have knowledge of the roads, local area, and ability to use navigation tools (GPS or other mobile apps); be prepared to adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
  • Drive year-round in inclement weather
  • Occasional extended hours and weekends may be necessary


  • Commercial DZ class Ontario driver’s license
  • Minimum 5 years professional driving experience
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and load them into the company vehicle, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina
  • Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of local roads and routes; ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
